Product description
Non-insertable lids sit atop containers without a hinge or other mechanism to hold them in place. This model is used particularly frequently as an accessory for a chafing dish or as a pan lid. Modern non-insertable lids form an airtight seal; the variants for food service often feature a cut-out to allow the handle of a suitable serving utensil, such as a sauce ladle, to poke through.
